COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Gallaudet University women's indoor track and field team competed at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus College here Saturday. There were no team scores at this meet.
Sophomore
Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y.) placed 35th overall in the 1-mile run with a time of 7:26.72 while first year
Jala Furdge (Brandon, Miss.) was just behind in 36th place (7:28.35).
First year
Brooke Carter (Christianburg, Va.) made her season debut and finished 39th in the 60-meter preliminaries with a time of nine seconds flat but did not advance to the finals. In the 200-meter dash, Carter placed 52nd with a time of 33.31 seconds.
First year
Tori Cushshon (St. Louis, Mo.) tried her hand at the shot put and had a top toss of 8.42 meters (27 feet, 7.5 inches) to place 33rd overall.
