BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Gallaudet University women's indoor track and field team competed at the Shane Stevens Winter Invitational hosted by Bridgewater (Va.) College here Saturday before a winter snowstorm moved into the Shenandoah Valley.

Sophomore Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y.) placed 21st overall in the 1-mile run with a time of 7:12.93 while first year Jala Furdge (Brandon, Miss.) was just behind in 22nd place (7:30.63).

First year Tori Cushshon (St. Louis, Mo.) finished 11th in the shot put with a top toss of 7.58 meters.

GU's three participants did not have a team score at this meet.
