Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team (1-3) shut out Mid-Atlantic Christian University (0-2) with a 3-0 score for their first win of the season Sunday in Elizabeth City, N.C.
The Bison solidified the win early, netting all three goals before halftime and keeping the Mustangs scoreless the entirety of the game.
Of the three goals, two GU players tallied the score, each of them earning their first career goals at the collegiate level.

Joe Bryan kicked off the Bison lead landing the team on the scoreboard in only the 5th minute of the first half. Keeping up with the momentum, first year forward
Stokely Karp (Framingham, Mass.) nailed Gallaudet's second goal just three minutes later in the 8th minute of the game and sophomore
Samson Abraham (Seattle, Wash.) made assist. The teams both held strong for the remainder of the half before Karp doubled his contribution to the score with a follow-up goal in the 28th minute assisted by Abraham.

Luke McBrine (Weymouth, Mass.), held up the defensive end of the field with six saves overall.
After a fairly even match with Mid-Atlantic totaling five corners and twelve shots as compared to GU's six corners and fourteen shots, Gallaudet claimed victory at last.
