WASHINGTON – The 2024 Gallaudet University men's soccer schedule was officially announced by head coach Jay Shaw, who enters his fourth season at the helm. The schedule features eight home games and eight road games for the Bison.
Gallaudet will begin the season at home with a tournament. The Bison will face Southern Virginia on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 3 p.m. followed by a Sunday afternoon contest against Alfred State (Sept. 1). The Bison will hit the road down to Virginia Beach, Va., to take on Regent (Sept. 7) before returning home for a game against Notre Dame (Md.) on Sept 14. These two teams will meet later in the season when that match-up will count in the conference standings. The buff and blue will conclude the month of September on the road with four games against Hood (Sept. 21), Mary Baldwin (Sept. 25), and Marymount (Va.) (Sept. 30).
The month of October begins with the United East opener at home against Valley Forge (Oct. 2) then a road trip to Penn College (Oct. 5) before returning home to face St. Mary's (Md.) (Oct. 8). Gallaudet will have a road conference game against Keystone (Oct. 12). GU returns home for a quick conference game against new United East member Penn St.-Brandywine (Oct. 16) before two more road conference games at Rosemont (Oct. 19) and Notre Dame (Md.) in Baltimore (Oct. 22).
Coach Shaw and the Bison will celebrate its senior class on Oct. 26 with its final home regular-season game at 3:30 p.m. against Wilson.
All home games will be played at Hotchkiss Field.
