WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University junior goalie Payton DeGraw (Salt Lake City, Utah) tied a career-high 25 saves here Saturday afternoon in a 7-0 loss to SUNY Morrisville as both teams began United East Conference play at Hotchkiss Field.

DeGraw last had 25 saves against Penn St.-Berks during her freshman season on Sept 14, 2019 at home.

Gallaudet (0-4, 0-1 United East) was forced to play defense for the entire game against SUNY Morrisville (2-2-1, 1-0 United East) as the visitors peppered the Bison goal with 52 shots (34 shots on goal). The Mustangs tallied 30 shots in the first half where they led 4-0 at intermission.

In the second half, Morrisville added three more goals and took 22 shots. 

SUNY Morrisville midfielders Jenny DeJung and Jozlyn Dolan led the way with two goals each. The Mustangs received goals from three other players in the seven-goal victory. 

The Mustangs scored two goals in a span of 46 seconds to begin the game up 2-0 at the 9:38 mark. DeJung netted back-to-back goals at the 13th and 25th minute marks to give SUNY Morrisville the 4-0 advantage.

Gallaudet forward Courtney Gentzke (Honeoye, N.Y.) took the only shot for the Bison in the 62nd minute as it sailed high over the Mustangs' goal.
