LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Conference announced its 2023 Women's Soccer All-Conference selections and Gallaudet University junior midfielder/forward Ashley Harlicker (Shenandoah, Texas) was selected to the second team. This is Harlicker's first appearance on the women's soccer all-conference team.
Harlicker finished the season with 12 goals and 24 points on 24 shots (16 shots on goal) and recorded two game-winning goals in nine starts. Harlicker became the first Gallaudet women's soccer player to ever earn United Soccer Coaches Division III Women's Soccer College Player of the Week honors back on Sept. 13 after she scored nine goals on 10 shots for 18 points in two games. At the time, the six goals scored were a program record and tied a program record 12 points. Teammate Courtney Gentzke scored seven goals and one assist a few weeks later to set program marks for goals and points in a game. Harlicker also took home United East Player of the Week honors (Sept. 11) for the Volt Division after that stellar performance.
Penn St.-Berks sophomore midfielder Diana Pon was named United East Women's Soccer Player of the Year for the Volt Division. Pon's teammate Sophia Gonzalez, a sophomore goalie, was voted the United East Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year while Penn St.-Berks coach Adrian Munteanu was named Coach of the Year. Lancaster Bible College first-year Isabella Eufemia was tabbed Rookie of the Year.
