Gallaudet blanked by Penn State Harrisburg on the road

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team fell to Penn State Harrisburg, 6-0, on the road Saturday in a United East Conference game.

Gallaudet (3-7-1, 1-4 United East) was held to no shots against Penn State Harrisburg (6-2-5, 3-0-2 United East), who finished with 18. The Lions were paced by Alex Afata and Ben Stuckert, who scored two goals apiece in the win.

Sophomore goalie Bode Aggas (West Henrietta, N.Y.) got the start in net for the buff and blue and allowed four first-half goals before giving way to freshman Vershon Carter (Chicago, Ill.), who logged the final 45 minutes of play. Aggas finished the game with four saves while Carter made five stops.

The Lions took 13 corner kicks as both teams had five fouls each.

GU returns home and will play host to Marymount (Va.) University (6-6) on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m., in a non-conference game.
