Box Score ABINGTON, Pa. - The Gallaudet University women's soccer season came to a close here Sunday afternoon against Penn St.-Abington as the Bison were shut out for the 11th time this season, 6-0.
Gallaudet (0-14, 0-8 United East) only had nine healthy players able to play in an abbreviated 70-minute game against the Nittany Lions (5-11-1, 3-5 United East).
Sophomore goalie Lilian Nelson (Minneapolis, Minn.) made nine saves in net. Freshman defender Agatha Niemelä (Copenhagen, Denmark) took GU's lone shot as the Bison were outshot 25-1.
Penn St.-Abington scored goals quickly and built a 6-0 lead after 27 minutes played. Sarah Gibbons led the way with two goals and one assist.

- GU will take a 15-game losing streak, dating back to the end of the 2021 season, into 2023

This concludes the 2022 season for the Bison women's soccer program. GU's previous postponed game with Penn St. Mont Alto (Oct. 1) has officially been canceled.
