Box Score READING, Pa. - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team was held to no shots in a 2-0 loss at Penn St.-Berks here Saturday in a United East Conference game.
Gallaudet (1-7, 0-5 UE) and Penn St.-Berks (3-7-2, 3-1 UE) played a scoreless first half before the host Nittany Lions scored twice early in the second half.
Penn St.-Berks got on the scoreboard with Sara Hathaway's sixth goal of the season off an assist from Jeyda Duran at the 48:46 mark. The host netted a second goal, minutes later, when Maddi Monka netted her second goal of the season at the 50:33 mark.
Bison goalie Payton DeGraw (Salt Lake City, Utah) made 22 saves in net for Gallaudet in the loss. The 22 saves is a season-high mark and the most since DeGraw made a career-high 25 saves against Penn St.-Berks on Sept. 14, 2019.
