Box Score READING, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team lost to Penn St.-Berks, 3-1, here Saturday in a United East Conference game.
Gallaudet (2-7, 1-4 UE) scored a goal in the 72nd minute to break-up the shutout that Penn St.-Berks (2-9-1, 2-2 UE) had built. Sophomore midfielder Tristan Torbett (Wilmington, N.C.) scored on a penalty kick at the 71:49 mark to cut the Nittany Lion lead to two goals, 3-1.
Penn St.-Berks midfielder Owen VanDyke scored twice in the first half as the Nittany Lions took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
After intermission, the Nittany Lions scored early in the second half on a Jonathan Morello goal past GU junior goalie Shane Angel (Mechanicsville, Md.) at the 48:49 mark.
