WASHINGTON - It was a close game here Saturday night under the lights at Hotchkiss Field between two United East Conference programs but in the end Gallaudet University fell short to Lancaster Bible College, 2-0. 

Gallaudet (1-6, 0-4 United East) only mustered three shots against the stout Lancaster Bible (5-5, 2-1 United East) squad, who ripped off 29 shots against the Bison defense. The Chargers scored one goal in the ninth minute and held the 1-0 lead at the half.

In the second half, LBC's Kendal Ream netted her second goal of the game at the 57:53 mark off an assist from Kara Huber. 

Bison goalie Payton DeGraw (Salt Lake City, Utah) made 17 saves in the loss.
