GU drops first road game of the season

FERRUM, Va. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team dropped its first road game of the 2017 season here Saturday afternoon in an 8-0 loss to Ferrum College.

Gallaudet (0-2) only trailed 2-0 at the half before the host Panthers (2-0) scored six second half goals to put the game away.

The Bison recorded five shots in the game with three coming from freshman Sean O'Callaghan (San Diego, Calif.). Sophomore goalie Noah Means-Simonsen (Louisville, Ky.) made eight saves in the loss.

Ferrum received goals from eight different players and had assists on five of them.
