Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team was unable to get any offense going here Wednesday as it fell to Lancaster Bible College, 5-0, in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game.
The Bison (3-8-1, 2-5-1 NEAC) were shut down offensively and held to just three shots on goal by Lancaster Bible (5-6, 3-4 NEAC) and its tenacious defense.
Marco Patz, the leading goal-scorer for the Chargers, opened the scoring in the first half in the 36th minute to give the momentum to the host team. LBC added a second tally at the 44:15 mark as the Chargers held GU to no shots and took the two-goal lead into halftime.
The Bison continued to fight in the second half but Lancaster Bible midfielder Dan Bewersdorff struck first, in the 64th minute, to extend the Charger lead to three.
The Chargers scored two more times in the second half to cap the game.
