Box Score WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University men's soccer team played in a tough and physical game against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Bryn Athyn College on Sunday evening at Hotchkiss Field. The Lions (5-4, 1-2 NEAC) scored the only goal early in the game while the Bison (1-4-2, 0-3 NEAC) took five shots in the 90-minute contest and fell 1-0.
Bryn Athyn freshman Farid Amari scored the game's only goal in the seventh minute with a shot that sunk into the lower right corner of the net past Gallaudet goalie Eric Setzer (Middletown, Md.).
The Lions took a 1-0 advantage into the half and hung on after a 45-minute second half. The chippy game saw a combined 34 team fouls and 10 cards, including three red cards, issued.

- Sophomore Connor Baer (Fremont, Calif.) took three shots in the game
- Two other Bison players were able to take one shot each during the game; sophomore Tim Artinian (Henrietta, N.Y.) and junior Afan Nyam (Jos, Nigeria)
- GU held a 4-1 edge in corner kicks
- The Lions outshot the Bison, 11-5, as none of GU's shots were on goal
