Senior Megan Calik (Conyers, Ga.) scored her first goal of the season on a free kick from 25 yards out, which hit off the crossbar and ricocheted into the net. Sophomore Stephanie Bettencourt (Mississauga, Ontario) also scored her second goal of the season, assisted by Danielle Davidson (Ramsey, Minn.), on a fast break.

QUOTABLE
"After a tough loss against Penn College, we refocused today and earned a shutout. This speaks volumes about our coordinated defense, which earned today's win with the support of our offensive players who all played a hand in our goals today. We look forward to our next conference game at home under the lights on Saturday evening." - Liza Offreda, Gallaudet women's soccer head coach

UP NEXT
The Bison will make the short trip to Arlington, Va., this week to Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 4 p.m.
