GU drops rematch with Christendom under the lights at home

Box Score

WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team began a three-game homestand on Wednesday night at Hotchkiss Field and lost in a rematch with Christendom College, 3-0. The two teams began the season, a month ago, with a 2-2 tie in Front Royal, Va.

Gallaudet (1-8-2) entered the game shorthanded, minus five starters, and held the visiting Crusaders (8-1-1) scoreless until the 43rd minute. Christendom's Patrick Audino drove down the right side of the field and crossed the ball to the middle of the box where Peter Day scored the game's first goal. The Crusaders took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
