CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University women's soccer team saw its two-game win streak come to a close on the road Saturday when the Bison lost 7-1 against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Cazenovia College at Fenner Field.

The Bison (2-10, 2-6 NEAC) cut Cazenovia's lead to 2-1 at the 18 minute mark when GU scored an unassisted goal. The official box score sent from the Cazenovia Sports Information office identified junior Maggie Hoyt (Edgecomb, Maine) as the scorer in the game summary but also credited the goal to freshman defender Elena Ciccarelli (Whitesboro, N.Y.) and no shots credited to Hoyt. Please note once the Gallaudet Sports Information office receives a corrected box score this story and the current stats will be corrected.

Cazenovia (5-9-1, 5-3-1) had seven different goal scorers and outscored the Bison 5-0 in the second half.

The Bison will face Morrisville State tomorrow (Sunday, October 16) at 2 p.m.
