Jonathan Penny scored a goal with eight seconds remaining against Hood College to send the game into overtime, but Hood scored first in overtime to win the game 2-1.

The game was scoreless until Hood scored on a penalty shot that was redone twice due to Gallaudet moving before the shot was attempted. Hood was able to score on their third attempt to take a 1-0 lead they held until Penny's goal.

Goalie Poloko Qobose had 17 saves for Gallaudet. Gallaudet goes to 0-12 on the season.  Their next 5 games will be at home, starting with Southern Virginia October 10 at 4 pm.
