WASHINGTON, DC--On an overcast day, the Bison played host to
Columbia Union College. Columbia Union got off to a quick
start picking apart the Bison defense for the first goal off a kick
by Nathaniel Oyefeso in the 2nd minute. Four more goals over the
first half would ensue, padding C.U.'s lead to 5-0 at the half.
The Buff and Blue worked hard in the second half, allowing only
one goal , and it came off a Se Eun Park kick at the 84th minute.
Bison goalie David Owens recorded 20 saves to C.U.'s total of 27
shots, no easy feat to accomplish.
Gallaudet's offense also put forth two shots in the second half
by Zane Noschese (#18) and Justin DiBiase, neither found the back
of the net. The Bison (0-5, 0-2 CAC) will continue working towards
their first victory of the season as they take on Salisbury
University in conference play at home September 18. The first pass
goes at 4:00 p.m.
