WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams are set to make their 2026 home debut at the Thomas O. Berg Track this Saturday, April 11, when GU and Howard University host the Bison Classic. The first events begin at 9:30 a.m.
This year's Bison Classic stands to be the largest in the history of the event as 12 colleges have entries for the Saturday meet. In addition to Gallaudet and Howard the other participating teams include; American University, Bowie State University, The Catholic University of America, Coppin State University, George Washington University, Goucher College, Johns Hopkins University, Medgar Evers College, Notre Dame of Maryland University and St. Mary's College of Maryland along with unattached athletes.
The running and jumping events will be livestreamed starting at 10:30 a.m. There are also live results of the meet being provided by QW Timing. All of those links are below.
This meet will mark Senior Day for several schools as both Bison programs (Gallaudet and Howard) and Goucher will recognize their graduating seniors at 10:45 a.m. on the infield of the track.Â
