LA PLUME, Pa. - The 2026 United East Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships began Saturday at the Keystone College Turf Field Athletic Complex.
The Bison saw one podium finish on the day as junior
Andrew Suarez (Fairview, Texas) earned bronze in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.08 meters.
First year
Ibukunoluwa Oluoni (Dallas, Texas) and sophomore
Kila Silva-Ewan (Honolulu, Hawaii) also competed in the hammer throw, placing 10th (31.15 meters) and 12th (26.05 meters), respectively.
First year
Akia Sloan (Washington, D.C.) placed ninth in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 39.49 meters.
In the long jump event, first-years
Brandon Washington (Citronelle, Ala.) and
Roud Valcin (Naples, Fla.) finished 10th (5.81 meters) and 15th (5.42 meters), respectively.
First year
Jason Alford (Dayton, Ohio) finished 18th in the 100-meter prelims (12.03 seconds) and 20th in the 200-meter prelims (25.67 seconds), while junior
Omar Harvey (Newark, N.J.) took 18th in the 200-meter prelims (24.95 seconds) and 20th in the 100-meter prelims (12.37 seconds).
