LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Conference released its 2026 Men's Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference teams and major awards.
Gallaudet University brought home four all-conference honors with one Bison landing on the first team, one on the second team and two on the third team.
All-conference honors, in the form of medals (gold, silver, bronze), were given to the top three finishers at the 2026 United East Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at the Turf Field Athletic Complex in La Plume, Pa., hosted by Keystone College on May 2-3.
First year
Sevan Ikeda (Fremont, Calif.) won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15 minutes and 23,95 seconds and finished second in the 1,500-meter run (4:15.61) as he earned two all-conference honors.
Junior
Andrae' Green (Washington, D.C.) earned all-conference third team honors in the triple jump (13.26 meters) while junior
Andrew Suarez (Fairview, Texas) joined Green on the third team for his top throw of 43.08 meters in the hammer. Last year, both Green and Suarez were on the second team in their respective events.
The Bison finished in fourth place out of eight teams with 44 team points.
St. Mary's College of Maryland won its first United East conference championship as the Seahawks earned 240 team points as they won 10 of the 20 events.
Lancaster Bible junior long-distance runner David Helms took home Track Athlete of the Year. St. Mary's freshman Solomon David won the Field Athlete of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. Seahawk head coach Reava Potter swept the 2026 United East Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year awards as she was selected as the men's and women's coach of the year
