LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East Conference announced its weekly conference student-athlete of the week awards for Sept. 29 and Gallaudet University junior outside hitter Brielle Worley (Amarillo, Texas) was named the Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Worley couldn't miss last week as she recorded 37 kills on 61 swings and only two errors for a stellar .573 hitting percentage. Worley added 25 digs, nine service aces and two blocks as GU went 3-0 for the week and picked up its first conference win. She had a double-double vs. Hollins with 11 kills and 11 digs.

Penn St.- Abington sophomore Fabiola Medina was named the United East Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after averaged 5.3 digs per set and totaled four aces in three games.

GU HONORS
This is Gallaudet's fourth United East Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honors this season. This is the eighth United East weekly honor for Worley in their volleyball career.
