WASHINGTON – The 2025 United East Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded here Sunday at Thomas O. Berg Track on the campus of Gallaudet University. The weather held for the majority of the competition as only a few showers passed through the nation's capital on a cool and overcast day.

Byron Moore was voted as the 2025 United East Men's Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year after the Bison finished fourth overall and served as this year's host.
The Bison accumulated 71 team points to finish fourth out of eight schools. Penn State Harrisburg secured its first United East outdoor track and field championship with 234 points. The Lions edged out the Seahawks from St. Mary's College of Maryland (226) by just eight team points. Lancaster Bible College finished third (150) followed by Gallaudet, Saint Elizabeth University in fifth (23) and University of Valley Forge in sixth (19). The seventh place team was Carlow University (17) and Penn State Abington was eighth (14) to round out the standings of the two-day championship.

Navar Harris (Charleston, W.Va.) placed second in the shot put with a top toss of 13.05 meters (42 feet, 9.75 inches).
Sophomore
Andrew Suarez (Fairview, Texas) finished second with a career best of 39.80 meters (130 feet, seven inches) in the hammer throw. Suarez also participated in the shot put and placed seventh with a toss of 11.36 meters (37 feet, 3.25 inches).
Sophomore
Andrae' Green (Washington, D.C.) was second in the triple jump with a top leap of 13.39 meters (43 feet, 11.25 inches). Green also finished ninth in the 400-meter run with a time of 55.16 seconds.
Sophomore
Roberto Torres (Miami Gardens, Fla.) placed second in the 5,000-meter run with a season best time of 17 minutes and 22.67 seconds.

Walter Douglas (Sanford, Fla.) and
Enow Otto Jr. (Silver Spring, Md.) placed third in the 4x400 meter relay with a season best time of 3:39.31.
St. Mary's freshman Pierson Hogue was named Track Athlete of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Penn St.-Harrisburg senior Sean Myron was selected as the Field Athlete of the Year.
Lancaster Bible senior Dustin Frantz took home the Elite 20, awarded to the student-athlete with the highest grade point average that competed this weekend.
BISON TRACKS
- Senior Cotis Martinez (Turlock, Calif.) was seventh in the javelin with a toss of 41.49 meters (136 feet, one inch)
- Sophomore Gabe Cadete (Nashua, N.H.) placed ninth in the javelin with a thow of 37.48 meters (122 feet, 11 inches)
- First year Kila Silva-Ewan (Cheverly, Md.) was ninth in the shot put with a top toss of 10.51 meters (34 feet, 5.75 inches)
- First year Joe Bryan (Liberty, Mo.) checked in at 11thl in the 400-meter run with a time of 56.03 seconds
- First year Allen Davis (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) placed 11th in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:10.37
- First year Mohamed Elsheikh (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) participated in the 1,500-meter run and finished 12th with a time of 5:13.51
- Elsheikh placed 15th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:31.09 as both of his times are new personal best marks
- First year Bobby Battle (Brandywine, Md.) finished 14th overall in the shot put with a top toss of 8.18 meters (26 feet 10 inches)
