LATHAM, N.Y. - Gallaudet University first year
Joe Bryan (Liberty, Mo.) was named to the 2025 United East Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Sportsmanship Team as announced by the conference office.
The United East All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. Student-athletes selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat. Each individual has been chosen by their coach as a representative who embodies the Division III spirit.
Bryan joins eight other student-athletes, a representative from each conference member, on the All-Sportsmanship Team. Bryan participated in the 2025 United East Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Gallaudet University earlier this month and placed 11th in the 400-meter run with a time of 56.03 seconds. He ran in the 200-meter dash preliminaries and finished 21st overall with a time of 24.94 seconds but did not advance to the finals.
The nine student-athletes are ambassadors for their teams, both on and off the course, and galvanize their teammates toward their goals. They exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators, and the greater campus community.
