GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Gallaudet University men's outdoor track and field team traveled to compete at the Oscar Moore Invitational hosted by Rowan University here Saturday afternoon. The Bison competed against Division I, II and III teams at the Coach Richard Wackar Stadium. GU did not have a team score.
Sophomore
Andrew Suarez (Fairview, Texas) finished 20th overall in discus with a top toss of 28.62 meters.
First year
Ajani Zahira (Fruitland Park, Fla.) placed 64th in the 100-meter dash prelims (13:35 seconds).
First year
Allen Davis (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) was GU's first runner to finish the 1,500-meter run in with a time of five minutes, 28.35 seconds to place 61th overall. Fellow first year
Mohamed Elsheikh (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) followed in 64th with a time of 5:38.07. Two additional Bison runners placed in order; first year
Driss Oukake (Amsterdam, Netherlands) in 65th (5:47.89) and first year
Jay Yang (Darien, Ill.) in 66th (5:49.47).

GU will head back across the Bay Bridge to participate in the Eastern Shore Challenge next Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Salisbury University.
