WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University softball head coach Justen Burns, who is entering his eighth season leading the program, announced the upcoming 2025 schedule. The softball schedule features 37 regular-season games and the United East Conference postseason begins on April 30.

Gallaudet will open the season with eight straight non-conference home games, starting with an opening day doubleheader against Sweet Briar on Saturday, March 1.

After the opening homestand, the Bison will head to Ralegh, N.C. for Triangle Collegiate Softball Tournament to take on Ferrum and North Carolina Wesleyan. The non-conference games that will be played at the Walnut Creek Softball Complex.

GU will return to home for one non-conference game against Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on March 13 before they head to Clermont, Fla., for spring break.

The Bison will play six spring break games from March 16-19. GU will face Nazareth and Juniata on March 16. The next day the Bison face Keene State and Bates. After a rest day, Gallaudet will close out the trip with games against Salem State and Knox. All games will be played at the Legends Way Ballfields.

Bison will return to the nation's capital for another non-conference doubleheader game vs. Albright on March 27.

The buff and blue start United East conference play by traveling up to Allentown, Pa., to take on Cedar Crest on March 29.

The month of April will feature all 12 conference doubleheader games and one non-conference twinbill. 

The Bison will host their first United East conference games against Rosemont on April 2 before celebrating their senior class on Saturday, April 5, against Wilson. GU will make a short trip to Baltimore on April 8 to take on conference foe Notre Dame (Md.) before hosting Penn St.-Berks on April 16.

Gallaudet's non-conference doubleheader takes place on April 18 when it travels to New Jersey City University. The Bison continue to New Jersey road trip going the next day against conference foe Saint Elizabeth University. 

Then the Bison will return to GU Softball Complex for the last home conference doubleheader games against Valley Forge on April 22. Gallaudet will wrap the regular-season schedule at Lancaster, Pa., to take on conference opponent Lancaster Bible College on April 26.

The United East postseason begins on April 30.

All home games will be played at the GU Softball Complex.
