MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Hits were tough to come by for the Gallaudet University softball here Saturday as the Bison dropped a pair of United East conference games to Penn State Harrisburg. The Bison only had one hit between the two games as GU lost 15-1 in five innings and 8-0 in sixth innings at Pollock Field.
Gallaudet (6-19, 0-11 United East) continues its quest for its first conference win of the season while Penn St. Harrisburg (18-8, 8-4 United East) improved its positioning for the postseason.

The Lions scored 10 runs in the first inning and finished the game with 14 hits which included five extra-base hits (three triples). Kierstyn Smith (2-0) went the distance and struck out four Bison as she faced 17 batters.Â
In the second game, Gallaudet's defense committed eight errors and the offense had no hits against Kylee Miller (7-5) and Allyson Leidy, who combined for the no-hitter. Senior starting pitcher
Lacey Drolsbaugh (Lansdale, Pa.) took the loss as she surrendered eight runs (three earned) on six hits, four walks and struck out five.Â
