Box Score

TAKOMA PARK, Md. - The Gallaudet University softball team hit the road for the first time this season and made the short trip to play Washington Adventist University, here Sunday afternoon, in a non-conference seven-inning game.

Gallaudet (5-5) rallied to score five runs in the seventh inning en route to a 9-6 win over the NAIA-affiliated Shock (1-5).

Washington Adventist (1-5) scored six runs in the second inning to end the day for GU freshman pitcher Elizabeth Stern (Lexington, Mass.). Freshman Kendall Hudson (Blissfield, Mich.) came on and pitched the remainder of the game for the Bison.

This is the second time in nine days these two teams faced each other. The Bison defeated the Shock, 6-5, on March 15 at the GU Softball Complex.
