Box Score BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Gallaudet University led from start-to-finish here Monday night as it handed Bryn Athyn College a 76-64 defeat in a non-conference women's basketball game.
Gallaudet (2-6) snaps a five-game losing streak to wrap-up the fall semester schedule. This is the third straight game Bryn Athyn (2-8) has dropped this month.
The Bison starting five finished in double figures as junior guard Kendall Hudson (Blissfield, Mich.) scored a season best 20 points to go with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Freshmen Sunita Schmidjorg (Austin, Texas) and Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) netted 16 and 12 points, respectively. Perry completed the double-double with 10 rebounds (nine on the defensive end). Junior guard Emelia Beldon (Frederick, Md.) recorded a season best 13 points to go with five assists, four steals and four boards. Junior guard Jakkisha Smith (Dallas, Texas) was the fifth starter in double digits with 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
GU led 17-10 after the first quarter and took a 39-22 lead into halftime.
The Lions were led by Jayda Campbell's game-high 24 points while Treasure Baskerville tallied 13 points off the bench in the loss.
