Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - Gallaudet University senior forward Kelli Barnes (Cliffside, N.C.) scored the game-winner, with less than nine seconds left in regulation, here Saturday in a thrilling 75-73 victory over Morrisville State College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) women's basketball game.
Barnes scored a season-high 10 points as Gallaudet (11-8, 8-2 NEAC) won its fourth straight game.
GU senior guard Sabina Shysh (Tucson, Ariz.) scored 19 of her team-high 21 points in the second half for the Bison. Shysh added nine rebounds, five steals and two assists.
Senior guard/forward Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) poured in 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists while junior guard Kendall Hudson (Blissfield, Mich.) matched Neild with 16. Barnes completed the double-double with a game-high 13 rebounds, two blocks and two assists. Her only points of the second half came in the waning seconds.
Sophomore guard Emelia Beldon (Frederick, Md.) passed out a game-high 12 assists to go with six points.
Morrisville St. (5-13, 4-5 NEAC) was led by Alexis Campbell's 28-point game.
