Gallaudet shut out against Penn St.-Berks, 2-0

WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Penn St.-Berks here Saturday afternoon at Hotchkiss Field in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game.

Gallaudet (1-8, 1-2 NEAC) had five different players record a shot in the loss. Sophomore goalie Noah Means-Simonsen (Louisville, Ky.) made nine saves in net for the Bison.

Penn St.-Berks (4-5-1, 2-0-1 NEAC) was led by Brenden Valverde (one goal, one assist) who scored his 12th goal of the season in the 29th minute of the first half. He assisted Cole Mays on the Nittany Lions' second goal in the 87th minute in the second half. Penn St.-Berks held a 24-5 edge in shots and 10-6 advantage in corner kicks.
