After the game, Gallaudet Head Coach Kevin Cook explained
what went wrong tonight. "Basketball is a game of runs and
unfortunately we allowed Marymount one significant run in each
half. It is truly quite simple- we played 'giveaway' with 29
turnovers and allowed Marymount too many second shots."
Coach Cook assured Bison fans, the team will continue to play
hard the rest of the season. "The score and current record
may not show it, but I am with these young ladies everyday, and our
attitudes are good and we are improving. As for Marymount,
they are an NCAA tournament team that plays with consistency and
high energy. Their biggest attribute is they play so doggone hard
every possession."
Gallaudet is now 5-12. Their next game will be Saturday
afternoon at the Field House as part of Alumni Madness Day.
The game will begin at 2 pm, not 6 pm as listed on the fliers.
