On a day when their shots wouldn't fall, the Gallaudet women's basketball team suffered a 64-41 defeat to Stevenson University at the Gallaudet Field House.  Despite playing tight defense on Stevenson, holding them to 35% field goal shooting, Gallaudet was not able to garner their first conference win today.

Ursa Rewolinski was dominant on the boards toward, getting a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Nukeitra Hayes was all over the place offensively and defensively , scoring 13 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, blocking 3 shots, and making 3 steals.

With the loss, Gallaudet goes to 4-7 on the season, and 0-4 in the Capital Athletic Conference.  Stevenson is 2-10 overall.  Gallaudet plays their next their games on the road, starting with a January 14 trip to Mary Washington for a 6 pm game.  The next home game will be January 21 vs. York College at 6 pm.
