STEVENSON,MD--Gallaudet suffered a loss in conference play
against the Mustangs of Villa Julie College, 67-37.
Freshman Nukeitra Hayes led the Bison with 14 points and had a
game-high five blocks, including two steals and 6 rebounds. Hayes
also went 8-for-11 from the free throw line. Sophomore Brittainy
Payne had 10 points and 7 rebounds to back up her teammate.
Point guard Priscilla Biskupiak had a game-high four steals,
contributing to the 14-13 edge the Bison had over Villa Julie in
steals.
Gallaudet (1-7, 0-4 CAC) has the week off before taking on
Chatham College at home on Wednesday December 19 in the final
matchup of 2007. Play will resume after the winter break on
January 9, 2008 in continuing conference play against Mary
Washington.
