WESTMINSTER, MD (1/15/07)—A season-high 37 turnovers is a
potential answer to the women's hoopsters' woes.
McDaniel College capitalized on those 37 turnovers as they scored
evenly, 43 points over both halves, while the Bison managed 17
points and 8 points.
Tamijo Foronda led the Bison offense in her first game back after
the winter break. The guard posted 6 points, while senior
Jessica Salisbury took charge of rebounding, grabbing 7. She
also fought for 5 points.
Theresa Hess and Ashley Lyles both led McDaniel's offense,
with 10 points apiece. McDaniel shot 52% from the field, as
opposed to Gallaudet's 24%. The next challenge for the
Lady Bison comes at home on Wednesday, January 17th against St.
Mary's College of Maryland. The ball goes up at 6:00
p.m. with the men's game following at 8 p.m.
