COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – A limited Gallaudet University women's indoor track and field team competed here Saturday at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus College. The Bison had three participants as there were no team scores kept.
Senior
Midajah Davis (Roanoke, Va.) jumped to the top of the leaderboard on her first throw in the shot put event. Davis threw the shot 12.81 meters (42 feet, 0.5 inches) and held on to win the event that featured throwers from Division I, II and III institutions. The 12.81 meters mark is a season best for Davis. She surpassed 12 meters on her fifth throw with a toss of 12.21 meters (40 feet, 0.75 inches).
Sophomore
Priscilla Berrios (Miami, Fla.) placed 37th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 33.06 seconds. Berrios took 43rd in the 60-meter preliminaries with a time of 9.67 seconds.
First year
Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y.) finished 41st in the 1-mile run with a time of seven minutes and 17.64 seconds.
UP NEXT
Gallaudet will travel down to the Blue Ridge Mountains and participate in the Joe LaRocco Invitational hosted by Roanoke College in Salem, Va., next Saturday, Feb. 15.
