COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The 2024-25 women's indoor track & field season started for Gallaudet University here Saturday in the Bow Tie Invitational hosted by Ursinus College.  

Senior thrower Midajah Davis (Roanoke, Va.) placed second in the shot put contest with a toss of 12.16 meters.

First year Lou Cherena (El Paso, Texas) finished eighth overall in the 400 meter dash event with a time of 1:21.14. 

First year Sofia Delk (Brooks, Ky.) participated in two events and placed 10th in long jump with a mark of 4.01 meters and finished 16th overall in 60 meters preliminary with a time of 9:57 seconds.

First year Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y. ) ran 1 mile event and finished 22nd overall with a time of 7:11.38.

Gallaudet is off until the New Year. The Bison will next participate in the Marlin Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Va.
