Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

WASHINGTON - It was a milestone day for Gallaudet University senior Cameron Upton (Vicksburg, Miss.), who collected his 200th career hit, with his second hit in the first game of Saturday's game with Keuka College. The visiting Wolves (10-13, 5-3 NEAC) went on to win the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) doubleheader over the Bison (7-21, 0-8 NEAC) with a 5-0 win in the first game and a 9-3 nine-inning win in the second game.

Game 1: Keuka 5, Gallaudet 0
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Upton singled to right field with one out to officially tally his 200th career hit. Upton becomes the second GU baseball player to collect 200 career hits under head coach Curtis Pride. Upton joins William Bissell, who tallied 206 career hits from 2010-14.

Keuka scored runs in four of the seven innings as starting pitcher Daniel Steve (3-0) threw a complete game shutout as he scattered five hits, walked one and struck out seven Bison.

Junior Robersy Delgado (Tampa, Fla.) went the distance for GU as he allowed five runs on nine hits, walked one and struck out two.

Game 2: Keuka 9, Gallaudet 3
Gallaudet fell behind early as Keuka jumped out 2-0 and later increased it to 8-1 before the game ended with a six-run win for the Wolves.

Keuka shortstop Brooks Vertoske led-off the game with a solo home run as the visiting Wolves scored twice in the opening frame.

Gallaudet got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the third when Upton, who singled to reach base, ran home from third base on a wild pitch.

GU added two more runs in the seventh thanks to a sacrifice fly by junior Gilwon Seo (Hongseong, South Korea) to plate freshman Billy Sowers (Woodland Hills, Calif.), who tripled moments earlier. Junior Winston Lane III (Brooklyn Center, Minn.) doubled home Upton to tally Gallaudet's third run.

Freshman starting pitcher Josh Dugan (San Antonio, Texas) took the loss as he allowed eight runs (six earned) on 10 hits, 10 walks and two strikeouts.

Keuka starting pitcher K.C. Howe (3-1) picked up the win as he surrendered three runs on nine hits, walked one and struck out six.

UP NEXT
Gallaudet will complete the three-game series with the Wolves tomorrow (Sunday, April 14) at noon for one nine-inning game.
