The Bison's first match of the day saw them win in convincing fashion with a 25-14, 25-17, 26-24 victory over Lebanon Valley College. Sophomore outside hitter Kali Frowick (Norfolk, Neb.) led the way offensively for the Bison with 15 kills on 28 total attacks and 10 digs. Klassen, Israel, and Whited all celebrated their final regular-season matches for the Bison on Senior Day. The trio has helped the Bison compile a 108-43 record in four seasons so far. The three were part of Gallaudet's back-to-back North Eastern Athetic Conference (NEAC) championship runs in 2010, '11 and in 2009 helped the Bison win the ECAC South Region Championship.
The team looks to win a third straight conference championship when it hosts the NEAC tournament at the Field House on Nov. 2-3. As the No. 1 seed in the conference, the Bison have a bye in the first round of the tournament and will play their first match in the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 3. Official game times will be announced later this week.
