Box Score 2 GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Gallaudet University
volleyball season got underway last weekend as the Bison
participated in the Battlefield Classic hosted by Gettysburg
College. Freshman outside hitter Ann Whited led
the way for the Buff and Blue as she recorded a team-high 28 kills
and was second best in digs with 36. For her efforts in the four
matches GU played she was named to the Battlefield Classic

shutouts against Carnegie Mellon University and St. John Fisher
College. Things went better on Saturday as the Bison won one match

and 11 kills against Richard Stockton. Senior defensive specialist
Melissa Miller made a team-high 37 digs while
