YORK, Pa.--Senior pitcher Jenna Owens put two
complete games of work as the Buff and Blue dropped a twinbill on
the road to York College in 10-0, 23-0 decisions.
Gallaudet picked up three hits from Alicia Balzer, Caitlin
Mosholder and Kallie Williams.
Williams continues to lead the Bison bats with a .455 average
off 30 hits in 66 at-bats. Her 24 runs scored are second only to
Keri Schmidt's 26. Schmidt is in the top five with a .383 average
from 23 hits in 60 at-bats.
Williams and freshman Casey McCullough
are tied with team-high RBIs (21).
Senior Lori
Hower has put together a .393 average from 22 hits in 56
at-bats, with junior Caitlin
Mosholder's .388 right behind. Mosholder has a team-high 12
doubles in addition to 22 runs scored (#3) and is #2 on the team in
RBI, with 19.
Freshmen Alicia Balzer and Amanda Smith both
have posted .357 averages. While Balzer has seen more playing time
in 22 games and gone 25-for-70 with 21 runs scored and 18 RBI,
Smith has gone 15-for-42 in 17 games with 10 RBI and nine runs
scored.
Balzer has belted a team-high four triples and two home runs.
