DOVER, DE (12/18/06)—The Bison went 14-for-32 in total
field goals, with a pair of treys and three free throws to command
a 12-point lead over the Wesley Wolverines at halftime. The
Wolverines managed only 7 field goals out of 28 attempts, with four
treys. Over the second half, the Wolverines out-dueled the
Bison, taking 16-of-32 baskets for a 50% accuracy rate, while the
Bison made 12 out of 29 shots, standing at 41%. Overall, the
Bison stayed on top with 42% field goal shooting to the
Wolverines' 38%, and out-rebounding the Wolverines 42-39.
For the Bison, junior forward Sekoe White led with a double-double
off 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jon Mowl dished out a
team-high 7 assists to accompany his 9 points. Kazeem
Babatunde put up 11 points off 5-for-6 shooting. Big man
Steve Biskupiak also was near-perfect, with 9 points off 4-for-5
scoring in the paint, tying White's five boards to lead the
Bison in the defensive rebound category.
The Bison go on break until they visit Penn State Berkshire,
Saturday January 6th. The ball goes up at 1:00 p.m.
