LATHAM, N.Y. - Gallaudet University senior guard
Kyle Florio (Franklin, Mass.) was named to the 2025-26 United East Conference Men's Basketball All-Sportsmanship Team as announced by the conference office.
The United East All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. Student-athletes selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat. Each individual has been chosen by their coach as a representative who embodies the Division III spirit.
Florio joins 13 other student-athletes, a representative from each conference member, on the All-Sportsmanship Team. Florio played in 18 games (three starts) this season and totaled 48 points, 29 rebounds, 20 assists and 15 steals. This is Florio's second United East All-Sportsmanship Team honor as he was selected two years ago (2023-24).
The 14 student-athletes are ambassadors for their teams, both on and off the course, and galvanize their teammates toward their goals. They exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators, and the greater campus community.
