LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East Conference announced its weekly conference student-athlete of the week awards for Apr. 20 and Gallaudet University sophomore wide receiver
Citrine Lummer (Frederick, Md.) was selected Women's Flag Football Offensive Player of the Week for a fourth time this season. This is the fourth consecutive week Lummer has earned a United East Women's Flag Football Player of the Week award.
Lummer made 16 catches for 269 yards and four touchdowns on her Senior Day for the Bison as GU locked up the No. 1 seed in the United East tournament. In the 15-0 win over Cedar Crest at home she led all receivers with 112 yards on eight catches and one score. Lummer caught eight passes, again, for 157 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-6 win over Keystone.
Keystone College first year Tayana Bibbons was tabbed the Women's Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week after piled up 11 tackles on the week, including a career-best five in a game against Montclair State. She recorded three interceptions on the week.
GU HONORS
This is Gallaudet's sixth United East Women's Flag Football Player of the Week honors this season. This is the fourth United East weekly honor for Lummer in their flag football career.
