LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East Conference announced its weekly conference student-athlete of the week awards for February 9 and Gallaudet University sophomore outside hitter
Zachary Bippus (Fishers, Ind.) was named the Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
Bippus led the Bison to a 1-1 week as he tallied 33 kills and 29 digs to go with seven aces and three blocks in a home tri-match last Saturday.
Lancaster Bible College junior Nicholas Marion was named the United East Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after a three-match week.
GU HONORS
This is Gallaudet's second United East Men's Volleyball Player of the Week honors this season. This is the first United East weekly honor for Bippus in his volleyball career.
