LATHAM, N.Y. - The Gallaudet University men's indoor track and field team was picked third in the United East preseason coaches poll released on Thursday.
Gallaudet finished fourth last year at the 2025 United East indoor track and field championships hosted at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Center.
Defending conference champion St. Mary's College of Maryland is tied at the top spot with Penn State Harrisburg. The Seahawks and the Lions garnered two first-place votes. Gallaudet checks in at No. 3 with one first-place vote. Lancaster Bible College is fourth and Carlow University is fifth in this year's preseason poll.
The 2026 United East indoor track and field championships will be held on Friday, Feb. 27, and held at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Center.
The Bison will begin the 2025-26 campaign at the Marlins First Chance meet this Friday, Dec. 5, at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., with a 10 a.m. start time.

The preseason poll rankings were conducted by the United East indoor track and field coaches, with each coach ranking out all teams but their own using a staggered points system (5 points for a first-place vote, 4 points for second, etc.). No self-voting was allowed. This is the first year the United East has held preseason polls.
