SALISBURY, Md. - The Gallaudet University men's cross country team ran at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University at WinterPlace Park ere Saturday afternoon. GU placed eighth place with 193 team points.
The host Sea Gulls won the meet with 18 team points as Salisbury had four runners who finished all top four. Christopher Newport placed second with 42 points followed by Virginia Wesleyan (107), Bowie State (135) and Howard CC (137) that finished in the top five.
Salisbury sophomore Peyton Dill won the 8K race with a time of 27 minutes, 36.60 seconds out of the 63 runners.
Senior
Jared Spinale (Camby, Ind.) was the first Bison to cross the finish line and placed 42th overall with a time of 33:06.60. First year
Gabe Cadete (Nashua, N.H.) was the second Bison to finish today's race in 44th place (35:01.90). First year
Samuel Sanchez (Los Angeles, Calif.) finished in 55th place with a new career best time of 38:39.20.
Bison first year
Awais Mughal (Islamabad, Pakistan) improved his time from his previous 6K meet with a time of 47:50.30 (61th overall). First year
Francois Decaux (San Nancy, France) joined Mughal's club as Decuax improved on his time from his previous 6K meet with a time of 49:58.40 (62th overall) to complete the team scoring for GU.
Bison first year
Driss Oukake (Amsterdam, Netherlands) finished 63th overall (56:13.50).
