COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The 2024-25 men's indoor track & field season began for Gallaudet University here Saturday in the Bow Tie Invitational hosted by Ursinus College.
Sophomore thrower
Navar Harris (Charleston, W.Va.) kicked off by taking second place in the shot put with his personal best 13.64 meters on the first of three tosses. First year
Akia Sloan (Washington, D.C.) placed ninth with a toss of 11.00 meters and first year
Kila Silva-Ewan (Cheverly, Md.) finished 10th overall with a toss of 10.98 meters.
First year jumper
Enow Otto Jr. (Silver Spring, Md.) finished third overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.32 meters.
Senior
Walter Douglas (Sanford, Fla.) placed 14th overall in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.66 seconds.
Sophomore
Sincere Vazquez (Hollywood, Fla.) finished 10th overall in the 800 meter dash with a time of 2:15.84 seconds.
