CARLISLE, Pa. - It was a clean sweep for the Gallaudet University women's volleyball team here Wednesday night as the Bison downed Dickinson College; 25-23, 25-23, 25-17, to win their fifth straight match.
Gallaudet (8-2) posted strong attack percentages in all three sets including an 18-kill third set (.308).Â
Junior
Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) posted a match-high 18 kills on 26 swings (.577) and added two blocks in the win. Sophomore
Citrine Lummer (Frederick, Md.) added 11 kills while senior
Natalie Clayberg (Pella, Iowa) finished with nine kills. Junior
Ella Gamble (Cullowhee, N.C.) passed out 45 assists and made seven digs. The Bison finished with eight blocks and two aces.Â
Dickinson (1-6) was paced by Emma Popham (nine kills), Camille Dofiles (18 assists) and Eliette Whittaker (five blocks).Â
UP NEXT
Gallaudet hits the road this weekend and travel to Westminster, Md., to play three matches at McDaniel College. The Bison begin the two-day weekend on Friday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. against Franciscan. This is the second time these two schools have met each other in two weeks.Â
